The Peru drug mule Michaella McCollum claims to have received a marriage proposal from the prison therapist.

SHAMED drug smuggler Michaella McCollum has showed off her toned legs during a head-turning gym visit.

The drug mule, who was banged up in a Peruvian jail after attempting to smuggle £1.5 million worth of cocaine to Spain in August 2013, wore sheer leggings with a simple black top. 

The Northern Irish convicted criminal’s attire left little to the imagination during her trip in Liverpool this week. 

Looking a different person from the bun-haired criminal of a few years ago, she was spotted just days after being offered a sensational £250,000 for a tell-all book of her smuggling ordeal. 

Since her release last year she has boasted of her “top dog” status in the Peruvian jail, where she ran a lucrative beauty salon behind bars. 

She charged prisoners for bikini waxes and other treatments, eventually earning enough to pay other prisoners to clean her cell and carry out chores for her. 

She also claims to have received a marriage proposal from the prison therapist, who told her “we could live happily ever after”.

And earlier this month she was spotted flaunting an enviable figure during a seaside trip to Spain - three-and-a-half years after attempting to smuggle drugs into the country. 

Things have been looking up for the 24-year-old since her release, according to a recent Facebook message. 

She said: 

Please know, I truly appreciate each one who cared and had my back.

Thank you for all the sweet messages I have not got reading them all just yet or got a chance to reply to them but I will definitely make a good attempt to get back to you all.
